About Dr. L.K. Lala
Dr. L.K. Lala has been a practicing cardiologist and internal medicine physician for more than 30 years. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Geriatric Medicine. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Hackensack University Medical Center/UMDNJ.
Dr. Lala received his M.D. in 1979 from the University of Brussels in Belgium, an Internationally renowned medical school. In addition, he received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of California San Francisco, after which he completed fellowships in reputed basic science laboratories.
After earning his M.D., Dr. Lala completed his Internal Medicine residency at Yale-affiliated St. Vincent Hospital, and his Cardiology Fellowship at St. Louis University Hospital.
